Welcome to what we believe is the first and most comprehensive Metropolitan police orders database held in the world. Our records cover the formation of the Metropolitan Police in 1829 to the end of the second world war in 1945. The database has over 550,000 unique entries and continually grows as new information becomes available.
All information supplied can be sourced via the National Archive at Kew.
This site helps family historians trace records of relatives who served in London's Metropolitan Police Service.
We are a small indepedent team dedicated to support family history research
and not associated with the Metropolitan Police in any way
New! Why not join us on facebook to share research or use our photo gallery?
Please Note:
We do not provide any information on officers serving in any other police service.
Please contact the appropriate constabulary directly.
